Project COVIDEO Service Application

[UPDATE - 6/12/20] Project COVIDEO is no longer accepting applications as the resources we had available for captioning have been exhausted. There currently is no additional funding to support the COVIDEO project. However, CTLT has put together a comprehensive webpage that reviews "Do-It-Yourself" captioning options, as well as ways to contract out for video captioning (e.g., using the Automatic Sync/CaptionSync CSU contract for captioning).  Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or run into any challenges (John Lee - jlee245@calpoly.edu). Thank you for your interest.

Project COVIDEO (Captioning Online VIDEO) is a student-based video captioning service for Cal Poly faculty and staff. If you are interested in using this service, please complete the application below. The Project COVIDEO team will review applications as they come in and contact applicants to begin the process. DRC student employees, trained in video captioning, will complete the captioning jobs. Please note that these student staff will be using their personal computers for this work due to telecommuting requirements in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. All members of the Project COVIDEO team have signed the Recorded Lecture Policy pertaining to the appropriate handling of recorded lecture materials provided by Cal Poly instructors. If you have any questions, please contact project coordinator John Lee (jlee245@calpoly.edu)
